Baskin Robbins is considered among the most famous multinational chain of ice cream brands. Founded by two American bussiness men  Burt Baskin and Irv Robbins in 1945. In 1949, there were more than 40 stores in Southern California when Burt and Irv purchased their first dairy production facility in Burbank. This decision allowed them to have complete control over the production of their ice cream and the development of new ingredients to make new flavours for better growth of their products. By the mid 1960s, this brand had grown to more than 400 restaurants all over the United States and in 1970s the chain began expanding internationally. Now it has more than eight thousand returaunts in nearly fifty two countries.
